    They all have sear blocks (not real prebans). They sold for $700 in August, now nearing $2K range. What happens if/when new ban hits? If they again can only be sold to LEOs, who would pay your price when they can order from Colt for $700? I think you would do better investing in my research project developing an artificial appendix for the Canadians.

    Mark: It does require certain mill work to unblock the later models, as well. That it is less work than the older models is but a matter of degree only, as opposed to prebans which require no such machining. Too, I'm not even sure altering the internals of these guns in this manner is legal. Do you know?

    Per another board, Colt is po'd that their distributors & dealers are selling LEO marked Ar's to the public.
    So Colt now states that no LEO marker AR's will be shipped to the distribors or dealers, only directly to the LEO's from now on.
    True or false ? I dont know?
