bought new Ruger 10/22-T any good?

Just bought it yesterday, put about 200 rounds through it, I like it, just wondering what others thought about them and how their durability is. Any thoughts would be appreciated. [:o)][}:)]

    I own two 10/22's but neither a T model.

    One of mine is a 22LR the other is a .22 magnum converted to 17HMR. Trigger pull on both these rifles has been lightened to about 3 pounds. Yours should already have a lightened trigger and target barrel. The .17HMR has a custom Jarvis target barrel and 3x9 scope. It will could pick somebodys eyes out at 100 yards.

    There was an excellent article in this months Shotgun News. Vol. 58, Issue 27 about the 10/22 and how they shoot. Out of the box plain model will shoot average 1.5 inches at 50 yards, 10 shot groups. The modified 10/22 shot an average 1.4 inches at 50 yards, 10 shot groups. Best groups as noted above both shot with Aguila Standard Velocity cartridges for $1.99 per 50 round box. Best group overall was 1.107 inches shot with the Aguila ammo from the plain out of the box 10/22.

    Your should shoot like a dream. Enjoy it because it is a great rifle.

    Probably the "others" have not priced decent .22's lately. The 10/22 is the gold standard for an everyday .22 and there is a ton of aftermarket accessories available.

    I think I may be the only one here that does NOT like the Ruger 10-22, bought one many years ago Paid $50.00 some dollars fer it New in the Box in calif. when you could walk in and walk out with the gun of your choice no paper work. Stock was way to short hated that thing. sold it and bought a remington Plastic 22 rifle, model 66 I think. I still have it and love it.[:D]

    Got a 10/22 Target about 2 months ago.
    Here is what I have found out on the ammo issue.
    CCI Target Green labels $8.50 per 100 at 50yds all holes are within the same of the first bullets edge!
    Agulia SE's $1.50 for 50 rds group with a 1/2 inch.
    CCI Standards 1/2 groups.
    CCI MiniMags 1" groups
    Winchester Wildcats 1"groups
    CCI Stingers 1" groups
    Wal-Mart bulk Federal .22's 1.5"group with a couple of flyers in 3"groups.
    PMI Modulators 1.5"groups
    Also test various others, all would not group any better than 1".

    With the CCI Green label is the way to go! 1/4"groups !!!!

    The 10/22 Target is way superior to the Std 10/22 or a Std 10/22 with aftermarket barrels!! But then the Target model was $360 compared to the Std 10/22 for $139.00 at Wally world. Guess you get what you pay for!

    I have a regular 10/22 with a Butler-Creek synthetic stock with a bipod build into it. There's also a carbon-fiber bull-barrel on it and the thing sure is a tack driver. I shot a three-shot group from a rest at 25 yards and all I got was one solid hole. Very impressive indeed.
