Grendel P30 22 mag problem

Hi there I have a Grendel model P30 in 22 mag.My problem is the fisrt shot is fine it ejects the shell as it should but every time after that I have to pull the slide back 1/4" and let it go before I can fire the next shot.I have cleaned this gun before and after every time I fire it.Could it be not broke in yet?any help would be appreciated Thanks!

    Fire it with the clip half full. Then you will know if it's a clip problem first. It could be a ammo problem as well. Some pistola's just don't like some brands.

    Thanks man I just tried that and it still has to be pulled back im going after some new shells here in a few hours any certain 22 magnum you think that pistola might like? I hope it isnt as picky as my wife !

    My p30's and r31 carbine just LOVE Winchester SuperX 22 WMRF! Stay away from the hollow points till you get at least 500 rounds through the gun.
    Also, after cleaning, make REAL sure that you've reassembled the slide onto the frame the right way; no tipping from side-to-side allowed, or it will pop off the frame and shower you with hot brass and gas.
    If you have more than one mag, try the other one 1/2 full also to see if that helps; they haven't made the mags since the year before the ban went into effect, and some have wimpy springs or burrs on the follower.
