I have a 22 revolver with serial number M30380. Can you tell me when it was made. (closer than 1931-1957). It has IJA & C Wks on the top strap. also has Fitchburg Mass USA on the top strap

  bigiron,
  your target sealed 8 was manufactured very late 1946 or very early 1947. the actual production dates of the target sealed 8 were 1932-1954 with a break for the war (1942-1945). there were over 150,000 manufactured during this time. pre wwII models have an octagon barrel and post wwII models have a round barrel. since your revolver is an early post wwII model what is the shape of the barrel.

  it is round. It also has IJA&C Wks on the top strap.
