I just inherited my grandfathers 22 and I am trying to find information on it, however I cannot find much on the 39D just the 39A and such. If anyone knows any information that could help me that would be great. From what I can tell the serial number is stamped just behind the hammer and it is 27142320. I am trying to find out info like year manufactured, worth, and anything else specific to the model D

  it was made in 1971 and then again in 1973 , the 1971 gun has white line spacers and a grip cap the 1973 gun does not . essentially it is just like a model 39M carbine (20") but with a pistol grip stock, value is about the same $200 to $350 depending on condition
