The most helpful book on rifles and triggers etc. that I have found is " Bolt Action Rifles " by Frank de Haas. It is distributed by DBI . Any bookstore can get it for you. It has chapters on practically all modern rifles with parts drawings ,specs, trigger adjusting instructions good and bad features etc. If you want to work on rifles you should have it.

Frank De Haas's book "Bolt Action Rifles" arrived a week or ten days ago. Fascinating book. I spent a week reading it from cover to cover. Then yesterday, following the detailed instructions, adjusted the weight of trigger pull on my Pre-64 Model 70. Works great. The book covers mostly center fire rifles.
