Rock River Arms AR
I am interested in an AR shorty and read an article in Guns Magazine about the DEA's new AR from Rock River. I'm looking for opinions and feedback with regard to the Rock River vs. Bushmaster. Are the parts interchangeable?

Bushmaster's parts are all mil-spec, and as far as I know, RRA is the same way. You wouldn't have any problems swapping mixed brand mil-spec parts. Colt's parts aren't all milspec, the lowers have a larger rear push pin(and maybe a few other parts) and will need special conversion parts. 0 -
ive never shot a rock river but i know the bush master is rated much higher. if the price is not alot of difference go with the bush master. you be happier especially when or if you ever go to sell it. i had a olympic arms once which was a nice gun, but when i went to sell it and told people what it was they just shook their head until i droped the price enough. if its not colt, bushmaster, or armalite you get no respect? 0 -
I've seen both and they are equal in quality. In fact a friend of mine has a factory Bushy and just built a RRA kit and the kit gun feeds better than the bushy (both shoot fine with good ammo, but the bushy doesn't like wolf) 0 -
