Ak-47 guys...

I just looked at an auction for a Hungarian AMD 65 side folder Ak47 built on a vektor reciever. Price is $440. Are these Ak's any good and is the price right? I dont know enough about all the ak variations and makers. Thanks!

  You just can't tell. It is all up to who built it and how good they are.

  The AMD65's are stamped. Price seems high, but they are a neat little rifle. Folded they are only 24" long. I finished my first one over the weekend, and shot it. Short sight radius makes hits at any kind range difficult. It was grouping about the same as my 586 S&W, about 5" at 50 yards. I have under $250 in mine, and about 2 hours work.
