battery for interaim scope?
I hope someone can help me I purchased a used red dot scope on e-bay that was supposed to be a Aimpoint mark v . I contacted Aimpoint and they stated they did not make this model . What Aimpoint told me they thought this scope was made by a company called Interaim I need a battery for this scope but cannot find any company listings for Interaim . Any help and info would be very much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
I am not familiar w/ the brand you've mentioned, but maybe one of the other members have and will chime in a little later.
If you can get no info on the scope and if there is no info on the inside of the battery cap or battery housing I'd suggest that you take it to a store that sells a wide variety of replacement batteries. Radio Shack would be a good example if you can find one that don't have some bored "ditz" propping up the cash register. A camera store might be good. Or break out the phone book and look under electronics parts stores.
Also it might help if you posted some pix of the scope, especially close up detail of the battery compartment and any markings on the scope.
Sadly there are some of the earlier red dots that you can no longer get batteries for. I hope this isn't the problem in your case.
Lastly, I am presuming that the seller dummied up on you when you went back to them ... well at least I hope you got the satisfaction of giving them a well deserved negative for misrepresenting the scope.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
