    I have had three. IMO, good gun for the money. Will take about two hundred rounds for the action to "loosen" up. After that pretty good. nambu

    Have to differ with you on the opinion expressed about the Baikal. I've got one in 12 gauge, and just ordered a 20 gauge. The Stoeger is like a boat oar.

    Action was really tight when I first got it but lapped the ears and it loosened up where I like it. Been shooting it for five years now. Wouldn't have ordered another one if it had been a dud.

    yeah..saw that one a week or so ago...and like you said, you sometimes get a lemon. But I have no complaints with my Baikal IZH-27, and some of my shooting buddies have tried mine and ordered one for themselves and they have not had any problems either.
