Can I ship a CO2 gun to Australia

I have offered some COlt CO2 pistols on Gunbroker and have been asked by a prospective buyer if I would ship it to him in Australia. I am fairly sure that ownership of these guns is permitted to the right persons under the right circumstances, but know nothiing about the legality of my shipping it to him. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Is it legal for me to be shipping this to Australia and if so how should it be shipped? US mail, Fed-Ex, UPS, DHK, etc....
