Remington M788 help

Any body have any idea where i can find a bolt assembly for a 788 short action 308?? any help would be appreciated.Thanks,mixer

  Try Gun Parts Corp. also known as Numrich Arms . they have a website and probably have what you need. When you find a bolt it will have to be headspaced to that gun.
  If you arent familiar with and equipped to do this you will need a gunsmith"s help.

  The Wisner's make new, replacement bolts for the Rem. 788 in several sizes.

  You can also check other forums and auction sites since these bolts do come up for sale occasionally. I've bought several that way but you have to have patience as they aren't frequent.
