Deer Hunting Shotgun?

I am looking for a new synthetic shotgun with a cantalever barrel for whitetail deer hunting and I need some educated suggestions on which model to buy. Can anyone give me a suggestion?

  For the money, ease of resale, barrels, accessories...can't beat the Rem 870.

  plenty of good guns and opinions out there but for the record my 870 is my favorite shotgun and always has been

  Can't really go wrong with the Rem 870 or the Mossberg 500 for reliability and value. Personally I prefer an 11-87 autoloader for deer.
