does anyone or has anyone made a .22hornet lever action?

  I am looking for any information available on the following rifle which I have recently aqured from a family member. It is a Zbrojovke Brno ZKW 465, 22 Hornet, Manufacture date 1949 (so I am told by the markings), Dbl trigger, Z on butt plate. Any information would be appreciated. I will try to post a picture.

  To the best of my knowledge, the Model 65 Winchester in 218 Bee is as close as your going to get. In recent years there have been a lot of reproductions made in Japan. Don't know if they have made a knock-off of the Model 65?

  Ruger made their # 3 in the Hornet. Don't know if you call it a "lever"! I punched mine to the "K". A sweet cartridge. GW.

  The biggest problem that I have with using it in a lever-action, is that the bullet design required for use in that action type (flat-nose) are not conducive to the best possible accuracy. Additionally, he Hornet cartridge case is a delicate thing, and it could be damaged quite easily in anything other than a well tuned action.

  There are Winchesters and (I think) Marlins in 218 Bee and 219 Zipper.
