Browning BPS Slug gun vs. Ithaca 37 guide series s

I am looking at purchasing either the Ithaca or Browning pump slug guns.The Browning has a 1:28 twist the Ithjaca a 1:24 twist.

    The Browning is a little available here in MN, but resale on both is so-so. The older Ithica's had some issues with the slide bars (had a friend that had three. When one jammed he'd go back and get another
    one). Of course, these were 30+ years old. Check around for a good price on a slightly used BPS. You either like 'em or hate 'em, and those that do trade for something else, take a beating on the trade.
