It'd be real hard to give a proper estimate without knowing which variant it is.
Just skimming the Gun Trader's Guide, at the Springfield 1911-A1 series, the NIB's average ~$450 and excellent at an average of ~$400 and makes no difference in pricing for the 10mm.
If you can look at the box and get the model off it, we should be able to narrow it down further. Model examples are Commander, compact, defender, trophy master, national match, government, etc.
I am a huge 10mm fan and though I'm not a Springfield fan, I might be interested in it just because of the caliber. If you are thinking of selling it shoot me an email (under my profile).
The 10mm - either you've got it, or you don't get it...0 -
In California, I bet one shop would tag it $650-700.
Another a little farther away would tag it $850.
If you are in a state that prohibits "importation" of handguns not on an "Approved List", the value will be higher.
Even an AMT 380 Backup with a book value of $90 sells for double that.0
