Can the trigger on a Marlin PAPOOSE be improved?

    Yeah, it can be improved..anything can. But I don't know what it might take. A little stoning and polish might do the trick. Ahhh, so what's wrong with it? Too much pull and too much travel? Never worked on one but it looks like a typical Marlin action.

    i have one that I had the gunsmith at our local Gander Mountain work on , he made it a lot better for about $15

    I purchased one years ago when they first came out.I polished every part, and stoned the sear/trigger.It now works as smooth as any old Model 39....
