Savage Scope?

My brother has bid on a scope made by Savage, exclusively for the .300 Savage Model 99, for one year only (This is what he tells me) I haven't had time to research any of this yet, but I was wondering what someone might be able to tell me about this Scope as far as: 1. Does this scope exist? 2. Value 3. Quality 4. Collectability, etc., etc., ?

  Scope book, notes that Savage sold scopes with their name on them for many years. Before W W II, they were made by Weaver. In the 60's & 70's they were made in Japan.
  
  Your going to have to give us all the markings and data on the scope, along with the physical dimensions/weight, if you want it identified & value.
