Colt single action army barrel help

Picked up a colt single action army 45 barrel. It's 7 1/2 inches long and in pretty good shape, bore looks good. Has front sight. Anybody know what it's worth?Thankyou beltfed

    we need serial No. along with pictures Price can vary twofold or more between 95% and 50% also first gen pistols can be 4 times value of 3 gen guns.

    I do not have the serial no of the gun, all I have is the barrel. I do not know what gen. colt it came off of. Thankyou Beltfed

    Sorry about needing the serial in my first post this old FXXX overlooked the fact you stated you had just the barrel. The roll stamp was changed a number of times between 1873 and now. Also the thread was change when they came out with the 3th GEN. guns. The only way we could tell would be some detail pictures of the roll stamp and measurement of pitch of thread. sorry Karl
