Can anyone help me identify this rifle?

I forgot to mention, there are many numbers on the rifle. For instance, on the front of the front sight, it is stamped "WaA655". Also, "7340" is stamped on the safety. Also, "7127" on the barrel behind the rear sight. Also "4152" branded into the stock. 0 -
You have to upload your pictures to a website before they will show up.
How about a written discription, including all marks & numbers.
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.0 -

To post pictures they have to be on a host site. If you don't have one just use the mail icon at the top of this reply to contact me and I'll give you my direct email address. Then you can send your pix to me as regualr email attachments and I'll post them here for you.
A thorough written discription is very important, however pictues often times make the difference.

Your rifle was originally a German Army Rifle, it dates to the Second World War, unfortunately it has been severally sportized sometime in the past 60 years. It value in it's present condition, is only as a hunting rifle. My WAG $100 - $200. 0 -
I am inclined to think Rufe-Snow is being just a little generous, but I suspect much demand would depend upon caliber. I'd give it $75-$150 tops. It almost looks like a .22 training rifle though action is too long. 0 -
Agreed - only value is that of a sporterized military rifle. Anywhere from $125 to $175, depending on buyer.

I would not give over $75 for a sporterized rifle, at least not someone's basement hack job. A fine rifle made by a gunsmith is another story. Which this ain't.

I had uploaded my pictures to www.villagephotos.com. Apparently their downloading limit is 10 MB per day, which appears easily exceeded. Where does everyone else post their photos, assuming that they are not running their own server, to avoid this problem? 0 -

The idea is your supposed to use photo editing software ( PhotoShop or something similar ) to reduce the size of your photos prior to posting on the free sites. No way were they going to post your multiple pictures, as large as they were, i.e. ( Pixels ).0
