Gerber BMF

I know this isn't a gun question, but those that have guns usually are knowledgable about knives or know someone who is.

Is anyone familiar with the market on these? I have one S/N 2XXX and I know they stopped making them. Have they gained any value? How is collectability on these things determined?

  Go to Ebay, start at collectibles and wind up with Gerber. Yes they have a good value, especially in collectors cond. They are just not enough Gerber knives sold in Gunbroker to get a good Idea.

  Thanks. I had tried there, but there seems to be quite a few forums that have bits here and there about the BMF. I was hoping for an authorative site or authority that I could utilize.

  I have a few of these both LMF and BMF Models. They made 3 versions of these knives from 1986~1999. Early Model ones had a Bianchi Clip on the back and where shorter. The Late Models were Longer and had no Clip.
  
  Price's are $150.00~$250.00 depending on Use, Box, Paper work, Blade used or never used, Complete with Compass.
