INFO wanted on Thompson BIG BOAR .58

Hog Sniper
I just picked up a new Thompson Big Boar .58 cal. rifle. I cant find much info on this gun. I'm looking for loading tips, production info and anything in between. Any help would be great.

    I don't know anything about the lineage of your rifle but I do know a little about working up a load. If I recall those big boars had a slow rate of twist for shooting round balls or short conicals,
    ( buffalo ball-ettes ) and the like. If shooting round balls in any caliber an easy way to figure out a starting point is to use the caliber and use that in grains .58 cal.= start at 58 grains of double F or equivalent and work your way up from there a couple grains at a time until you have found your most accurate load or your max load whichever you are trying to get to.
