Carcano clips 8mm

I a looking for one or two clips for the Carcano Mag box which were specifically made for the Nazi occupation of Italy Carcanos rebarreled in 8mm. Thanks Bigtime

    According to my reference, there is no such animal. The Model 1938-43 Rifle your speaking of, was modified to work with the 7.92 x 57mm ( 8mm Mauser ) cartridge, in such a way that the only way it could be loaded was by single cartridges manually into the magazine.

    There has been some discussion on this at the italian firearms boards... no one there has ever seen a genuine one and many doubt that they were made, suggesting a single shot option; that said, many have succesfully modified a regular clip to accept a slightly larger head, needing bending and some filing to work though... also you hopefully know that a Carcano, while a solid gun, is no 98 mauser and the 8mm is a much more powerful cartridge than a 6.5 carcano, and that the guns were modified by cutting into the reciever... I would only use US commercial ammo, loaded down military ammo, or proper handloads (IE no hot turk surplus!)
