Para-ordnance help!

Hi Guy, can you help me out. My father in-law is very ill from cancer and always talk about getting another .45 and referred to wanting a high cap. par-ordance. I'm looking for a full size, would that be the P14 model. The ones I seen are alloey frames. Do they make a steel frame model. What should I expect to pay for a nice used one.

  P-14 is the full size 45. A nice used one will bring $5-600. The other option is that there are lots of para frames running arround sporting colt upper assemblies, the will usually fetch about $450 or so. Then there are the limited guns, which are just and updated model with a few more bells and whisles, $650 or so, then the New LDA's which are double action only guns, $650ish.

  You can get the P-14 either steel frame or alloy frame. I prefer the steel frame but to each his own. Good luck in your search and best wishes and prayers for your father-in-law.
