Quick Question about LEO rifles

I should know this but haven't had the time to research it so maybe someone here can give me a definitive answer. I presently own a LEO bushmaster CAR-15 (don't have the rifle here at home so I'm not sure the exact model). I bought this rifle with a letter from my chief on my own and use it for work purposes. My question is: With the ban no longer in effect is the LEO status of the gun just a curiousity now, could I sell it to a civilian without issue? Just want to know as I'd like to keep it when I retire without any issues. Thanks in advance... John

    john..i found this ad on a website...looks like le only mags are good to go to civilians after 9-13...hope someone can give a answer..

    Thanks guys, it's the best coyote gun I've had to date. Ok, the funnest coyote gun I've had to date, my browning blr in .243 was nice too. I'd hate to lose it.
