Any good foldingstocks for Yugo SKS?

Now that Clinton's gun ban has expired, are there any good folding stocks out there that will actually fit a Yugo SKS?

    Advance Technology makes one, its there sks-0100 light sporter----I have them!!!! picture on atigunstocks.com---same as the sporter shown, but folds!!!!hatchettman2003@yahoo.com

    Thanks Hatchetman. I will check into that. I was under the impression that most of the folding stocks were, for some reason, not made tdo fit the Yugo SKS.

    We change them out all the time for our customers at the gunshows. simple to install!!!!

    I thought the ban only affected domestic arms, not imports. I have a Norinco SKS I wanted to put a folder on, but was under the impression I still could not. Am I wrong?

    I also understand it that you cannot do it with the yugo as long as it has the bayonet and grenade launcher. I dont think the AWB changed anything with the sks.

    you can change them , but you have to also use USA compliant parts, you must change 7 of them!!! as for the bayonets, they are to be taken off, they are for collectability only, not to be mounted and taken into the public sector. stupid law!!! i guess the govt thinks we have to many drive-by bayonetings.

    I might be wrong but I dont think having a certain amount of US parts makes any difference. You are only allowed a certain amount of "evil features" no matter what. quote:as for the bayonets, they are to be taken off, they are for collectability only, not to be mounted and taken into the public sector Is this a state law where you are because there is no federal law that I know of. If you remove the bayonet to install something else you have to remove the whole bayonet lug not just the bayonet. On the US parts for import isnt it 10 parts that have to be changed? If I am wrong somebody correct me.

    I have removed the bayonet but haven't ground off the bayonet lug. I also would like to know if it is legal to add the folding stock to my Yugo SKS. Mark Christian would know for sure. I am going to try and flag him down.

    This is no different than an AK type of imported rifle and this means that in order to add a folding stock, flash hider, pistol grip, or magazine over 10 rounds (detachable or not) you need to add enough parts to make it made in the USA. The bayonet and grenade launcher are not an issue in this case because the BATFE ruled that the Yugo SKS qualified as a C&R with these items when imported but removing one or both does not allow you the option of replacing them with a different type of banned feature for imports like a folding stock or flash hider. My information is the same as hatchettman's in that you need 7 new parts to be USA compliant.

    thanks Mark. I knew you would know. You and Hatchetmann might have helped keep me out of prison. Would be kind of embarrasing though to be in prison shoulder-to-shoulder with murderers, rapists, armed robbers, etc. and have them ask me what I was in the slammer for.

    I would almost have to lie to them rather than tell them that it was because my Yugo SKS with the folding stock was found by the ATfe to have only 5 American made parts.
