I have heard good and bad about the Taurus Millenium. What exactly are the problems with it?

  does anyone own or have fired a taurus pt111 9mm?? what are your thoughts on it?? what night sights would be compatible with this particular model??

  I had one.....didn't like it so I got rid of it.
  
  The thing I didn't like about it was the trigger (spring)would "bunch up" right before it would fire. That would cause me to jerk it just a little to get the firing pin to release.
  
  Taurus fixed this problem with the "newer" pt-111 "pro" model. So my recommendation is if you are going to get one make sure you get the "pro" model. DON'T LET THE GUN DEALER TELL YOU THEY ARE THE SAME! Because they are not.
  
  I like the new "pro" model very much and didn't like the first edition at all.
  
  Just one simple mans opinion.
