savage 17 trigger pull

hello all can i put an accu trigger on a savage bolt 17 or is there any easy or hard way to lighten the trigger pull thanks

  The Savage Accutrigger is NOT offered nor will it fit prior models of rifle. You might look at www.midwayusa.com for triggers for Savage. I think Rifle Basics offers one .

  The factory triggers can be lighten fairly easily . Have you removed the stock and taken a look at the trigger ass.? I believe you will find an adjustment screw and return spring which will need replacing .
  You may polish the release and the bolt where they lock together which will take the gritty feel away and crispen it up a bit . You will need to turn the bolt to the firing position once removed for polishing .
