    THE HOLES ARE THERE. FIRST SPRAY THE BACK OF THE PAD WITH REM OIL OR SOMETHING SIMILAR, THEN START PROBING WITH A PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER.

    Better yet, you can probably use your fingers to pull the pad toward the outside edge, at the top and the bottom, one at a time, and you will see the "slits" cut into the pad to let the screwdriver enter. Be sure to use a round shank screw driver, and put a little Vaseline on it so as not to tear the pad material.
