BT 99
I need to shorted the stock on a Browning BT 99. My problem is, I see no apparent holes in the recoil pad to remove the attaching screws. What am I missing? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Vic

THE HOLES ARE THERE. FIRST SPRAY THE BACK OF THE PAD WITH REM OIL OR SOMETHING SIMILAR, THEN START PROBING WITH A PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER. 0 -
Better yet, you can probably use your fingers to pull the pad toward the outside edge, at the top and the bottom, one at a time, and you will see the "slits" cut into the pad to let the screwdriver enter. Be sure to use a round shank screw driver, and put a little Vaseline on it so as not to tear the pad material.
Let us know how it goes.
Good luck,
