Only got (2) points to make about your friends Colt AR
1), He should thought about selling it a year ago.
2), If that "203 grenade launcher with sights" is the real Mcoy, i.e. 40mm, hope it's on paper.

I thought that was worth quite alot by itself... but what do you mean by on paper? Do you mean is it a clone or if its imported or?0 -
No such thing as "preban" and "post ban" anymore except in those commie states like NY, NJ, CA, etc. 0 -
I looked the rifle over and the launcher that is on it looks like the one I had when I was in the Army but on the right hand side next to the trigger it has a cocking lever that I dont remember being on my 203 while I was in the service. Of course its been a long time, "almost 20 years", and my memory isn't what it used to be so I could have forgotten that detail but it seemed that the 203 on my weapon cocked when it was slid open to insert a grenade. Also the rounds we fired from ours had round tips and the flares that are with this launcher are flat nosed. Thanks for the feedback, and yes I agree it was stupid to wait until the ASB sunsetted to decide to sell it.

Believe the original ( genuine ) military 203's have rifled bores, whereas the flare luncher look alikes are smoothbored. Also the bore diameter of the 40mm military 203's are 1.570, the flare lunchers are smaller, at 1.450 dia.
