Leupold 10x scope value help??

OK gent's,..I don't really keep up with the value on older (no longer produced) optics. A lady here in one of the stores has a rem700 22-250 (older varmint model BDL 24") with a Leupold straight 10x on it. I showed her the bluebook giving the rifle a VG price range of $330-$345 as it has been fired at the range but is said to be in VG shape. It has the 10x leupold on it,..and this scope according to the info I have seen has been discontinued for some time. She knows he (he husband) had owned the rifle for a good while,..and is trying to put a price on it. What would you say the 10x leupy is worth and what is it worth as a package deal (assuming 85%+ condition). Thanks in advance.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

    Different types of 10x scopes were made. You need to give more specifics before one can estimate a price accurately.

    I sold basically the same set up last year, except he 700 hvy bbl was a 243. Had 10x Leupold with factory added target knobs. Brought

    Until next week when I can lay eyes on it,..I can only say that I know it is NOT a MK IV version. probably the AO version (gold ring ?) with a gloss finish and fine crosshairs. Thanks so far guys keep em coming.

    If a Siloutte, or BR model it will have target style knobs.

    Can aslo be a Fixed Power Varmit style with low caps.

    If scope color is a blue purple (almost plum) it can be built in the 80's.

    All Leupold have had a gold ring. it's part of their logo.

    Was a decent scope basiclly a Vari XII or VXIII quality, but fixed.
