    Perryshooter---I would like the complete NM rear sight. My rifle is a
    5-54 rebuild (SA), with a SA NM barrel and SA NM op rod and the wide front sight. Some one may have changed the rear sight. The rear sight
    that is on the rifle is an off color light gray park.

    make sure creedmore isnt selling remakes of those nm sights. and even if its is an old one, there is no guarentee it will fit on or work. the splines must align. its hit and miss on fitting them. btw...dont forget to check the trigger group, saftey, and hammer for sa markings. odds are it isnt!

    bobski...aren't the real USGI NM rearsights marked with a "NM 24249" on the windage knob? And don't the commercial versions of the NM rear sight have a long winded serial number or something similar marked on them? Reason I ask is that two of my older Navy Crane Indiana match grade M1's have the NM24249 rear sights and one of my newer Crane guns has "PN7790358 NM OBTD4" on the windage knob. I've always thought the long winded one was the commerciaql version. Beach

    yep. and the big problem is when people try to put commercial knobs in milspec bases and vice versa. or even worse...battle knobs on nm bases![:0] btw...i put your sling on today. looks good on that m-21 in the closet. thanks again!
