10mm with a polymer frame!! I found one...
I know I didn't actually state a question in my opening line, so here it is: I have two EAA Witness P Carry polymer frame pistols in 10mm. I have one up for auction. Have you ever seen any other polymer frame or alloy frame 10mm full size pistol besides the Witness?? In fact, I had one heck of a time even tracking down these two by EAA. One is a keeper for me, but I had to order two to make sure one was delivered.
Thanks for any follow-up to my question. I've seen an array of steel frame 10mm....but no other choices in a lightweight frame version!

HOLY COW!! I can't beleive that you found one! There are a LOT of people advertising the 10mm Witnesses and even showing pictures of the Polymer frame, but NO ONE so far has been able to get one!! This must be a first! How much? Where? When?? Is it up for bid here?
Let me know!
Thanks, Jerry
Q: Why did you shoot him 16 times?
A: I didn't see the need to reload!

Yep, the G20... I've had one for over 10 years, but just got my first Witness (but in compact steel).
No offense, but the Glock is a much better firearm out of the box than the Witness. The Witness line does have its attributes too however, namely the price. Many have had feed problems and need the ramp polished, I don't know if that problem is true for the polymer variant or not...0 -
I found his auction !
here's a link to gunhawke's auction, its over on the other site, AA so you will have to go there

Whoops!! [:I] My bad about the Glock in 10mm. I was on brain lock or I would have included the fact that I was looking for another SA/DA poly/alloy full size 10mm.
You'll have to wait until I get a chnace to try this Witness out to see if there's any problems. I've had poly Witnesses in .45 as my carry gun and NEVER had a problem. My LE duty gun was S&W revolver and they will always be my first love....but I include a whole lot of brand names in my keeper/carry closet!! EXCEPT a Glock. Owned only one and liked it so much I gave it to my brother. Now if I can just talk him out of his S&W 1076.
Thanks all!

I've got several other 10mm's as well - including the 1076 you mentioned, only mine is the FBI variant. It'd probably be my second choice for defense work after the Glocks and the Witness Compact would be the 3rd choice once reliability was established...
If you are really wanting your 10mm to perform, try some of the various loadings from DoubleTap. They are all within SAAMI specs (no +P's here) but they exceed the original NORMA loadings. How does a load landing right in the middle of the factory .41 mag levels sound? They've got 'em... http://doubletapammo.com/main_site/index.html
My current 10mm's: Kimber Custom Stainless Target II, Colt Double Eagle, Glock 20, Glock 29, S&W 1006, S&W 1076 FBI, E.A.A. Witness Compact in wonder finish. (I'm a big 10mm supporter/carrier/fan)0 -
GunHawke, let me know how much you want for the Witness, I think I have to keep the 1076 and may just want to add the Witness to my stable of instability.

I might trade my FBI model 1076 for the polymer frame Witness 10mm. If you are serious let me know. [8D]
