AR-15 Build? Help!

I've built and repaired many ARs but it's been about 14 years. I'm not familiar with that company but would want to know if they have a chrome bore and a warranty on their parts. Assuming you've never built one before it's not rocket science BUT does take a few special tools and can be tricky. Even the sights can be a real pain in the butt or the pin that holds in the gas tube. Best you find someone that's done it before. And getting it put together right is only the first part, it's the trouble-shooting any problems after it's built that is the real challenge.

I just recieved some Model 1 kits for some customers. They seemed to be pretty good quality. You can get the chrome lined barrel for an extra charge. They really have a good deal on kits. It takes me about 45 minutes to throw one together (20 of those minutes is crawling on the floor looking for the detent that went POOOOIIINNNGGGG!)

I'm not trying to steer you away from Model 1 Sales but here is an excellent company for your AR15 build.

I have used their kits and they were of as high quality as I have seen. Also our local S.W.A.T. were building their weapons from J&T's kits. If you get a kit from them it wont be a disapointment.

I have ordered from Model 1 in the past as well as getting a light weight CAR barrel from them about a month ago and their products have been very acceptable, you should have no probblems.

It has an 11.5 inch barrel and a 5.5 inch flash hider. Does this equal the required 16inch barrel? How about lowers guys? Anyone know of a good stripped lower for about $100?

I think they require the flash hider to be "permanently" attached in that configuration. Lowers? Haven't shopped them in ages....but might, again, soon. *S*
