is this ammo any good??????

I am looking for some cheaper practice ammo for my 308 and came across Winchester's Remanufactured Ammo being sold at Cabela's. Anyone ever use it???

  I have never used any and perhaps should not answer your question; however, it is produced by Winchester and sold by Cabela's, neither company is in the habit of providing faulty products. Get a small amount, try it and let us know how it works out.

  I would bet that you'll find that it is acceptable as practice/plinking ammo. None of the majors are going to produce questionable ammo these days, with possible liability litigation issues over their heads...

  I have used alot of it in my handguns and never a problem, the only ammo i have had any problems wit his wolf and the pmc brands. I might also suggest sellior and belloit for a lower priced ammo that works well.
