VPI Rust Preventive Powder

Does anyone know about VPI powder? Back in the prehistoric days of piston propeller aircraft I worked for an airline. We used a product call Shell 260 Vapor Phase Inhibitor (VPI) to protect aircraft parts in storage from rust. A kind of crystal white powder. It worked well, even in the humid tropics. At the time it was said to slowly vaporize and neutralize the effect of oxygen causing rust. I still have some of it. Does it still exist as a product? Is there a modern equivalent? Any info or comment appreciated.
