CA dealers, is S&W 5906 CA legal?

I am wanting to send my brother a pistol in Sac. CA. The only one I can come close to being legal out there is a 5906 with a `10 round mag. Is it legal, I looked on the CA list and saw 5906TSW but what is the TSW designation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The TSW is the "Tactical S&W", a model with gaudy roll-markings and a few cosmetic changes (You will notice in the movie "Collateral" the S&W handgun is the former model, not the newer one).

    S&W evidently feels there are not enough of that model in the system to warrent paying a few thousand for the drop-test. At any rate, new changes in CA law to go into effect in 2007 (I think) will completely alter the makeup of the "Approved list).

    Since it is his gun anyway, and you were just borrowing it, Overnight it to him and forget it.
