Mag Question
Good Day Forum,
I would like to know if ARMAILITE AR15 mags will work in any other make of AR15? The reason I ask is because I have AR10's that will only take Armalite brand mags and not DPMS or M14 stuff.
Thanks to all replies and my most sincere appreciation to all U.S. Military personnel.

I've been lookin at some 20rd hi-power mags. Can anyone tell me about how far they'll extend from the pistol? 0 -
It would be at least twice as long as the factory 13 rd.In addition to the extra rounds, you have more spring to account for. Some are also very hard to load, and not always reliable.
Love them Pre-64's!!!!-Bob0 -
20rnd mags will typically extend only 2-3 inches past the grip heel, and if you spend the money on a quality mag you won't have any problems with feeding or loading.
generally speaking $20-$30 would be a decent price for this mag. You might even find a pro-mag or USAmag for $15 or so. DO NOT BUY NO-NAME MAGS, They are made in Mexico and are very cheaply made.
HAVE FUN!!![:D]
