Blue Book says 100% $605, 98% $520, 95% $505. Opinions vary, but the going rate would probably be $450 to $500. 28 ga (values reflect BBook's adder) is popular so might bring more or less according to season and local area(gun ranges and variety of local game, ect)

Ruger: Expect to pay towards the top end. 28ga. guns are on the rare side, they didn't make as many as 12 or 20ga. This is a very popular guage with some bird hunters, and the season has already started in some areas. allechalley nailed the price range. You just have to ask yourself how bad do you want it! Depending on who the seller is, and how knowledgeable they are, you might get a lower price. Make an offer start out on the low side and go up. Regards Dave

Thanks for the info. He is asking 600. He is an old friend of my late dad. I think I'll go for it. It is just such a nice looking gun.
