Height of rings for flat top AR & 50MM:
I have a RRA Flat top and a Burris Black Diamond scope (30MM tube, 50mm Objective lens). What height rings do I need to clear the barrel? I tried to contact Warne and haven't gotten a response. The Warne rings are what I am interested in but I would use Badger, Leupold QRWs, or other suggested rings.
The designation med or high is sufficient. If you have the actual heigth in mm above the base (Picatinny Rail on receiver) that would be even better.

I used the high rings on my Bushy , there is about 15/16" between the buttom of the scope(main body ) and the top of the rail. 0 -
Thanks gskyhawk.
The high (15/16") rings gave the front bell of your scope adequate, but not excessive, clearance over the handguard or barrel.

I have a simons Aetec 3.8 x 12 x 44 on that rifle and it has a full 3/8" between the bottom of the bell and the top of the handguard , I would think your 50mm bell would have plenty of clearance. 0
