How much for custom rifle?

I have a Chandler .308 custom sniper rifle. It has a Harris bipod and a Springfeild Armory 4.5x14 56mm bullet-drop compensator illuminated reticle scope. Steel bases & rings. Marine style sythentic stock with nice camo paint.

The rifle shoots 1/4 MOA. At least I do with it, the rifle probably shoots better than I do. I get 1 inch groups at 400 yrds.

I read a quote from SOF mag that the "Chandler" sniper rifles are the most accurate in the world. Who knows? I know it shoots like a dream [:)]
I am thinking of selling it. Anyone know what it should go for?

    It's very hard to put a price on a custom rifle.You have to find someone looking for those particular features. I would start with what I got in to it or maybe a little lower depending on how much you shot it.Or start it at 100.00 and let the market determine the price.

    I don't approve of political jokes. I've seen too many of them get elected.

    Just an atta boy for ya, If you are shooting 1" groups at 400 yards, my hat's off to ya. Thats world class shooting. Wouldn't be fraid to say that it is a world record.

    As for my shooting ability, that only happens when there is no wind... and I shoot with a buddy who shoots better than me on most days. When he put 5 .243 rounds in one hole at 50yrds I realized I still needed to learn to shoot better. Now I don't mean one hole where all the bullets are touching I mean one pen sized single bullet hole. There was just barely a hint of flowering so I could tell he didn't just shoot one hole then shoot the rest off target. You could cover the group with a cut out from a paper hole punch, freaking floored me.

    Wish someone knew how much my rifle was worth...hehe

    sniper762,..the current IBS world record is a little over 1" at 1000yds for 5 shots[:0][8D]

    Custom rifles are hard to price. Usually you can be good to get 50-70% money back. The type of stock,..number of rounds fired,.exterior condition, etc make a big difference. A rifle with 2000rnds down the tube is getting devalued quickly,..etc etc etc.

    why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....

    JustC is right with his thinking about most custom rifles. I'm not sure that it holds true for the IBA Chandlers. Their output isn't very high numerically so the value tends to be higher on the used rifles. It is a rifle that occupies a unique niche in a very selective market so the value will be higher in the market that caters to the tactical type shooters, but significantly lower in the regular shooting market.

    Why don't you contact IBA and run it by them since they made the rifle and they should know their market.
