Ruger didn't produce 30 rounders for it. I have some older USA mags that work well in mine. Fun rifle to shoot. 0 -
I have a lot of thirty round mags for sale for the Mini 30 and will make you a good deal.

Rugers Mini 30 is a fine rifle. In my opinion it is no better than the SAR-1. The SAR-1 has many very in exspensive hi cap mags and sight accessories. The cost for the SAR-1 is less than the Mini 30. My 2 cents [8D]

I have some USA Mini-30 20rd and 30rd mags available in stainless. I also have some blued mags from both USA as well as some other sources. The USA ones seem to be better built than the other ones out there. USA has of course been out of business for a while, so even if the ban goes away. It might be some time before we see some "good" quality mags for the Mini-30. To date the best ones have been the USA's and the Thermolds. The ones that the suppliers have had over the past few years were very questionable in quality. The steel was thinner and not very well done. As previously mentioned, it may be odd, but in this case, the USA mags are going to be your better choice of mags. Ruger themselves and PMI, (both know for their excellent Mini-14 mags) neither ever made high cap mags for the Mini-30.
When it comes to Mini-30 mags, there are cheap ones out there and there are slightly more expensive, better ones out there. The places that have offered the Mini-30 mags in recent times have had a distinctly higher price on the USA's than their other "no-name" brands in the same configuration. That is usually a good indicator that one magazine is cheap (and of questionable quality) and the other higher priced one actually works (and is probably in lesser supply).
