j.p.sauer&sohn sauer trophy 22lr revolver
for the experts. i have 22 swing cylinder revolver marked j.p.sauer&sohn west germany imported by hawes firearms. this gun has a 6in. ribbed barrel,handles are marked with original sauer&sohn medalion,high quality blue finish and adjustable rear sight. would like to know how many were produced and when as well as value to collectors,gun is in mint condition.

I can't give you any specifics other then my personal observations. Relatively few of these high quality double action Sauer revolvers were imported, as compared to the single actions. I believe the time frame to be, the early to mid 70's. I would peg the value to be equivalent to a K 22 in comparable condition.
