..i have seen a few ads selling this ammo.i have never seen or heard of it,just wondering where this cartridge originatedand what firearms were chambered for it.[?]

  Fiocchi still makes the ammo, it is available sporadically here in the states. Expensive when you can even find it.

  This one came from Austria,1944.S&W 32 Long has been shot in it.Brass fits nicely.Bullet is a little under bore size.Cylinder holds 8 Shells.

  thanks for the info,keisler wholesale had it listed in shotgun news for around 8.50 a box.I have just never heard of it until now.

  That's the cheapest I ever seen that stuff, in fact any of that Fiocchi ammo for those obsolete handguns. Most of the time it goes for between $25 & $35 for a 25 round box. The last time I bought any of that Fiocchi ammo, was the 10.4mm for the Bodeo Revolver. It ran me $25+ a box.
