Great guns. I have 3....2 nickel and a blue. Totally reliable. They are Beretta made M84's with a closed slide.Sights are terrible, but the gun itself is accurate. They seem a little large for a 380 CCW. They're about the same size as a 669 Smith, and thats in 9mm.
Love them Pre-64's!!!!-Bob0 -
I use to own one. It was very good quality, made for Browning by Beretta.
It was to big and bulky for CCW though, considering it's only chambered for 380. Plenty of 9mm's are around nowadays that are alot smaller, lighter and easier to carry concealed.

Good pistols, but I throw in with the others ... today there are many less bulky options in larger calibers for about the same money.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -
what other small size CCW weapons are out there and about how do they stack up comparitively in size weight and accuracy
cause i am in the marcket for a small size CCW in either .380 9mm or .400 -
You're welcome for the information!!
I carry a SIG P239 9mm.

I got a Brownign BDA in .380 for the Wife. (I will miss her a little) The smaller .380 recoil was easy for her to deal with since she is not a regular shooter. The Larger size made me happier since it fits my hand well, and the 10 plus 1 is fair enough.
For myself, I carry a Kahr K-9, Elite 98. Size is comfortable to carry and fill your hand, Safe Action (like a Glock) makes it easier for a Lefty like me to use (and I didn't need to put an ambi saftey on it like my 1911's) Good Personal defense ammo makes the caliber a great stopper, and the Polished Stainless Steel finish makes the Elite series nice looking hardware.
Good Luck
