removing paint on barrel

I have an older Rem PSS that was painted professionally by HS precision and was wondering the best way to remove the paint off the action and barrel. Thanks.

  That is acctually number 1 on my list but this is something I thought about doing today, after they stopped answering the phones.

  Just spray it with Jasco paint remover. Don't get any on plastic or brass.
  Safer method is to wipe it on.
