Aftermarket Assessory Rail for a 1911
Aftermarket Assessory Rail for 1911
I've been looking, and cannot find one. Insight Technology, which makes the M3 and M6 lights have an after market rail (Adapter) for Beretta 92 and 96, and a handfull of Sigs. Does anyone make a rail like Insights?? I've got a Loaded SA Champion. If so, please help a guy out!!! Thanks,
Larry

I know that a company(drawing a blank on the name) makes a "gunsmith" rail, meaning drilling and tapping is required. as soon as I find the link I'll post it here.
H&K USPC .45
Spring 1911-A1 Mil-Spec
SIG 220
S&W 629 Classic
Ruger MK1
Mossberg 500A
Marlin/Glenfield Mod 60
Mosin-Nagant M380 -
Thanks, i'm thinking of calling Insight Tech. to see if they are going to come out with one in the future. I'll post their reply sometime soon. I did come across the site you were talking about, but I dont think I can spend a couple hundered bucks to get this done any time soon......wife would be upset. (again...
<---Its almost getting fun!!!!!

There's a company that makes a non drill rail. I think it's the same guys that make the MX6 flashlight laser.

Right, thats insight technology. But as of now, they only make rails for Sig and Beretta. I'm also wondering if the Beretta rail will fit a Taurus 92/96. What i'm looking to do is place a Springfield Armory assessory light on my new Loaded Champion. (but i'm wanting to do this right)

Maybe it interferes with the trigger?

I sent them an email asking why there wasn't an adapter for the 1911.
