WIll one of you Marlin guys tell me the date of manufacture of a Marlin 336 Micro grove barrel with serial number #23123373? Thanks much in advance. Since I have been here on the forum, short time, you guys and gals are the best bunch of people. REAL AMERICANS //REMEMBER 911!!! nambu

  To get the year made for most modern Marlin lever actions, subtract the first two digits of the serial number from 2000. A gun with a serial number starting with 23 was made in 1977.
