www.benneliusa.com. nothing compares to the II. don't know if you need a high $$ duck gun. i don't need one but i have one. this will be the first year. hope to shoot it a lot. good luck.

I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.

I have the original Black eagle Competition model as well as the Legacy model. There may be some "supposed" upgrades in the II,..but I highly doubt they could improve what has proven to be one of the finest firearms ever made. Mine survived well over 5000rnds in 3 days in Argentina with NO CLEANING. Never missed a beat.

If you are considering a Black Eagle benelli,..you have made a wise decision,..no matter which model it is. Enjoy your new toy,..it is one of the best available.[8][8D]

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
    Got Balistics?

I have shot a number of ducks and other creatures with my Super 90. It would be a less expensive route to take unless you need to shoot a 3 1/2". But I wouldn't buy anything other than a Benelli auto.

I bought my Super Black Eagle in '94 and have shot it a lot in the past decade. I loved it so much that I have since sold every other 12 gauge I owned. The main difference between the series 1 and the series II is the second series uses cyrogenic barrels and also the recoil-reducing gels in the stock.
I will wait a while to see if the recoil-absorbing material gets hard over time and loses its effectiveness.
When I bought my Benelli I lived in S.E. Kansas and hardly any gun shops in that area had even heard of one. I found out about them in the Gun Traders Guide; it mentioned a semi-auto that could shoot everything from 2 3/4" to 3.5" mags without adjustment. I drove over an hour just to hold one and I walked out with it and haven't regretted it for a second... I doubt you will either - no matter which version you choose.
