Norinco - Winchester Model 97 Shotgun

Does anybody have any experience with the Norinco copy of the Winchester Model 97 pump shotgun? It seems like it might be a good one for Cowboy Action Shooting. Are there other better alternatives? I already have a Liberty II double barrel coach gun, so I don't need another double.

    My brother has one that he uses for the Cowboy action shoots and he really likes it. His only complaint and it's not much of one, is that it is kinda tight. He says it's not as quick as the older ones, I told him if he puts a thousand or so rounds through it should be as loose as the old ones. Overall he thinks it's a good piece and worth what he gave for it.

    None of my cowboy Pards have ever had a bad thing to say bout them,especially after an action job by a good gunsmith.They can be made to sing with a lot of cycling but an action job does it quicker.
    IIRC<there are 3 'generations' of Norincos,the older ones are to be avoided,but not sure what 'bugs' they may have.
    on the Sass wire a fella named Coyote Cap can tell ya what you need to know and tune it up for ya too.
